Kindness travels.

A grassroots effort bringing food, school supplies, footwear and everyday essentials to children and families across the Philippines — one act of kindness at a time.

Somewhere between two homes, a reason to give back became something bigger.

Project Helga began as a personal effort — a way of staying connected to the Philippines by supporting the people still there. It has grown into a small, ongoing outreach, run largely on volunteer time and community generosity, reaching children, families, and elders with the things they need most.

Helga Babushka — Founder

It started
with giving back.

Helga is a Filipina living abroad who never lost her connection to home. Project Helga is her way of turning that connection into practical support — school supplies, shoes, food, and everyday essentials sent and delivered to communities across the Philippines.

Her husband joined the effort early on, and together they've kept it going: packing boxes, coordinating outreach days, and showing up for the people they support.
